Dispensing pumps

The selection of dispensing pump technology for single- and multi-component reactive casting resins is determined by processing parameters such as viscosity, the fillers of the metering media and the metering capacity. Continuous metering is ensured by monitoring pump speeds and working pressures. Even the smallest fluctuations in a metering process affect the quality and service life of the end product. Our pump systems used maintain the defined process parameters and constant dosing in the dosing process. Whether for liquid or highly viscous, filled, highly abrasive and aggressive casting resins. We have the right pump technology for every requirement.

Dispensing pumps are used in various areas of industry. It is important that the dispensing pump and the dispensing medium are compatible. There are three main properties of dispensing pumps. They must be outstanding in safety, reliability, and economy aspects. Each mixture has different properties, which must be considered for correct dispensing.  A high-quality dispensing pump must work safely and reliably. This is the only way to achieve the highest quality for material processing with the dispensing pump. In addition, the pump should work efficiently - this means it must implement a high operating speed with consistent high quality. The dispensing pump must meet various requirements depending on the application to perfectly complement the dispensing system. bdtronic has various pumping technologies of single and multi-co

Dispensing pumps from bdtronic

We have the appropriate solution for your requirements. Choose a dispensing pump system that perfectly fits your finishing processes.

Eccentric screw pump

Suitable for low viscosity to pasty, highly filled, highly abrasive and aggressive reaction resins with low shear force development on the pumped medium. Small and large metering capacities possible.

External gear pump

Suitable for low to medium viscosity and unfilled reactive resins. Small metering capacities are possible with the external gear pump. Very precise even with small metering quantities.

Internal gear pump

Suitable for medium-viscosity to pasty and filled reactive resins without abrasive fillers. Large metering capacities are possible with the internal gear pump.

Peristaltic pump

Suitable for low to medium viscosity, highly filled, highly abrasive and aggressive reactive resins.

How to select the right pump?

It is relevant to select a dispensing pump that is reliable in all areas. Only the pumps that are matched to the process lead to a faultless result.

Viscosity

The lower the viscosity of the dispensing medium, the more difficult it is to dispense it precisely. Depending on the viscosity, other dispensing methods are used to ensure that the required quantity can be applied reliably and precisely. Not every pump can optimally dispense each viscosity: fluid, flowable, self-flowing, pasty.

Filling materials type

Individual filling materials may behave differently under pressure during dispensing over the pump.

Dispensing media type

Strongly abrasive and aggressive reactive resins require a different dispensing pump than, for instance, liquid media.

Dispensing rate

Are small quantities required at a fast-dosing rate or large dosing quantities with a high-precision dosing point involved? The type of production chain also plays a role. Is the dispensing pump used in industry for series production or for the individual production of parts?

Dispensing principles

Depending on the application area and task, all parameters would have to be coordinated to achieve the perfect result.

Time Pressure System

In the Time-Pressure system, a material is kept under pressure in a container, thereby supplying the system with material. The downstream dispensing valve opens and closes automatically after the set dispensing time.

Hub Pressure System

The structure of this system corresponds to that of a sprayer. In the first cycle, the piston moves upwards and delivers a medium, in the second cycle it is dosed through the outlet valve.

Positive Continuous

Process low to medium viscosity, highly filled, highly abrasive and aggressive reactive resins in dispensing with the peristaltic pump.
